The founder of Salt Press commissioned us to create a bespoke room divider curtain for the new Salt studio in Shoreditch.

The brief asked us to reference traditional Bojagi curtain-making in a contemporary design context, creating a piece that softened the industrial surfaces and created privacy between the public and private spaces in the studio.

The final design is crafted from white linen and utilises flat-felled seams to create a detailed drawing of the architectural features of the space.

Measuring 6 x 3.5 metres the curtain was crafted in the studio from over 50 panels of cloth.
