Giorgio Griffa - A Continuous Becoming
On a very wet and cold Tuesday I made my way to Camden Arts Centre (the other end of the world from my usual South London stomping ground) to see a wonderful exhibition from Giorgio Griffa.
One of my favourite things about the exhibition was discovering that Giorgio is 81 and this is his first ever UK show, proving it's never too late and we should never stop trying and believing in our work!
The works struck a chord with me as they are all unstretched paintings making them almost textile wall hangings - there is certainly a cross over in my eyes! I left feeling really inspired and can't wait to get back into the studio to begin exploring the ideas the show has ignited.
The show is on until the 8th April and I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful gallery.
